Fun.!!!!!
One of my all time favorites fun. has produced music that is all together inspiring and just a true gem among the music world today. Every song I have ever heard from them has been amazing! They only have one CD out, and one single but are expecting to release another new CD soon! SO STOKED! The lead singer/song writer Nate Ruess was the lead singer/song writer for The Format. So if you liked them, you'll like Fun.. They struggle a little bit in the video department with their new single release, but still one of my all times!
Warning.....the new single "We Are Young" is a fantastic song BUT do not watch the video the first time you listen to it.
I'm going to post a second video by them to prove that they are not always terrible at videos.

The Head and the Heart!!!!!
Oh welcome musical magic! Didn't see you there! Indie folk top notch right here, their amazing use of harmonization and musical talent has given The Head and the Heart a running start in the music industry. Launching out of Seattle, WA in 2009, this sextuplet makes music sound easy! They released there first album in June 2009 and the very next year began touring with the likes of Vampire Weekend, Dave Matthews, Iron and Wine, The Decemberists, and Deathcab!
The drummer is my favorite person to watch in the live recording!

Fanfarlo!
Just the fact that there Swedish lead singers' name is Simon Balthazar should be enough as it is, to make you listen to this amazing group! Emerging in London in 2006, this group put out 4 singles in the London Indie pop charts between 2006 and 2008

Nickel Creek
Country/folk music surely has it's place among this blog. Peeking in with the amazing Nickel Creek. This trio playing with a father, son, and friends, Chris Thile (middle), and his father Sean, started the band by first performing in a pizza shop in Carlsbad, CA, in 1989. Sean Watkins (right), was only twelve at the time. Since they have been tearing up the folk music scene.

Holy Ghost!
This duo born out of New York, uses a nice electronic 80's style, to wow their audiences. The revert back to the 80's has made them increasingly popular, much like other 70's and 80's styles.

Architecture in Helsinki!
This is one of my most favorite bands! Developing in the 90's, in Wales, as The Pixel Mittens, they didn't manage to escape the 90's with the same name. In 1999, they clipped out magazine clippings and rearranged the letters to make their now name, Architecture in Helsinki. They've gone through a few line-up changes, but have remained true to their musicianship. This bands never ceases to amaze me with their unique taste of background additives in works of music.
Favorite songs by them:

Owls Go
Hold Music
Like it or Not
And almost anything else they produce, they'll keep you on your toes!
